Our Fairfield Gardens Policies

Making A Purchase

To make a purchase, browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

If you have any special instructions or requests, you can add this during the Checkout stages in the “Special Instructions” box.

From time to time we may swap individual items for items of a similar type and/or of equal value, for example due to stock levels. This applies mainly to Gift Boxes, where individual components may differ to those listed on the website. In the event that an item does have to be changed we will contact you by e-mail for confirmation of your agreement.

Postage & Packing

Postage costs will be automatically added to your shopping basket at checkout. We ship to the UK and worldwide. Rates are calculated based on the weight of the order. For orders less than 1kg in weight we use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. We offer a variety of different options for shipping larger orders to give you the best price.

Paying For Your Order

During the checkout process you will be asked to make an instant payment using your credit or debit card via the secure payment processor PayPal. Please be aware that you do NOT need a PayPal account to pay for your order and your card details are never released to us.

Delivery Schedule

We aim to despatch all orders within 2 days, and your parcel will typically be received 2-3 working days after despatch.

If you fail to collect the package it will be returned to us. We will arrange redelivery at your expense or refund you minus the original cost of postage and packaging.

To help limit credit card fraud, we will only deliver to the address that the credit or debit card is registered to. In special circumstances we may consider delivering to a different address. Please contact us if you would like to discuss options.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We will not sell or divulge your personal information to any third party under any circumstances except for Goods delivery purposes or where required under UK law.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:
your name
address
phone number
email address
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

We may send you marketing emails from time to time, but we will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can not be used to identify you.

Cancellations, Returns and Exchanges

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a seven day right to return certain goods and services. Due to the nature of our products we are only able to accept returned goods that are unused and in their original packaging before a refund can be authorised. The original post and packaging costs will not be refundable.

We will ask you to return the items safely at your expense. If we receive incomplete, damaged or used items we may make further reductions to the amount we refund to you. We do not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit to us.

If a parcel sent from us to you has arrived damaged, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will ask you to return the goods and damaged packaging in order for us to investigate further. Please ensure that you secure the package when returning it to us. Your products will be replaced. A refund for the return postage will only be given if you have had our consent to return the goods.

Due to the nature of our goods we will not issue exchanges except under the circumstances described above. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods are believed to have been damaged, or are not in their original condition. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your Statutory Rights.

Fairfield Gardens are not responsible for the content of any website pages that can be accessed by a link either to or from our website.

Alterations

Fairfield Gardens reserves the right to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time, following which all use of our website will be governed by the updated version. These Terms and Conditions replace all other Terms and Conditions previously applicable to the use of the Fairfield Gardens website.
